The One Battle You Must Win Daily
If time is the most precious thing we have, focus is the most important we control.
A few weeks ago I wrote about my Instagram account getting hacked and then deleted by IG (it has since been reinstated, after many many outreaches) and the illumination it provided me.
I still think it’s the best thing that has happened to me this year because it forced me to think about what really mattered to me and if I was really heading in the direction I wanted to.
One of the major things that dawned on me was my lack of focus––better yet, not having Instagram forced me to focus on my focuses.
I realized that I was spending too much time on Instagram and Twitter and that I needed to get back to things that mattered to me.
Those moments of introspection wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t have a life altering (and I use that term very loosely) moment. For me, Instagram has most of my life documented and for better or worse I was faced with the reality of that fact.
